PAIR: War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. S.P. 61. F.J.Callaghan. Both medals impressed. Display mounted, toned, some contact marks, otherwise very fine.
Together with a Hong Kong silver fifty cents 1902-05 of Edward VII with scroll suspension added to the top edge and the reverse removed and inscribed, 'Callaghan.F.J./SP61/Rom Cath/0 - 4'.^S/P61 Francis John Callaghan, born 28Mar1902 at Liverpool, England; Enl.01Sep1942 at Sydney, NSW in RANVR as Cadet; served on various postings; Disch.13Jan1945 as Seaman ex Rush NAP (Naval Auxiliary Patrol).
