WWI, TRENCH ART, artillery shell vases, features a pair of brass 75mm shell casings with headstamps for, ' D.C.P. Co' (Dominion Copper Products Co of Canada), each with a pair of fancy handles and at the front is a rampant lion on its hind legs and with a crown above, each casing is inscribed, 'Nieupont' (a French aeroplane company that built racing aircraft before WWI and then fighter aircraft during WWI). Very fine. (2)
