NETHERLANDS, Province of Overijssel, shipwreck coin, ducaton or 'silver rider', 1734, mm crane (KM.80). With corrosion, good.

With Certificate of Origin No.901811 stating the coin was recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East Indiaman 'tVliegent Hart' (Flying Hart) which sank off the coast of Zeeland on her voyage from Holland to Batavia (East Indies) on 3rd February 1735.^^The remains of the wreck were discovered by a diving expedition in 1981 after three years of exploration.
