GERMANY, Satirical medal, 1897, Alliance of Russia and France, in bronze (50mm) by Mayer and Wilhelm, personifications of Russia and France facing, rev. Putto seated on globe in clouds, "IN MEMORIAM MOSKAU 1812 SEBASTAPOL 1854" (Wurzbach 2304). Extremely fine.
