SOUTH AFRICA, satirical medal for the plight of the Boers at the hands of the British Empire, 1902, gilt bronze (35mm), German manufacture, bust of Kruger with Boer family and burning farmhouse in background, rev. bust of King Edward VII, tear drops turning into gold coins as they fall. Extremely fine.
