TOOWOOMBA CHRISTIAN BROTHERS' COLLEGE, prize medal in enamel and gold (9ct; 4.32g; 23x35mm), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed, 'C.B.C./1929/J.Purcell/1st/McKinney/H'cap.'. Nearly uncirculated.

The college held its annual sports meeting on Saturday 19 October 1929. The 220 yards McKinney Handicap (senior) was won by J.Purcell in the time of 23 3/5 secs. Toowoomba is a city in the Darling Downs region of Queensland.
