ST JOSEPH'S COLLEGE, prize medal in gold (9ct; 5.30g; 25mm), by W.K., scroll and ring top suspension, obverse inscribed, 'SJC/1915', reverse inscribed, 'Welter weight/Champion./F.Satterthwaite'. Hairlines on reverse, otherwise toned good very fine.

F.T.Satterthwaite was a member of St Josephs' College, Hunters Hill, Sydney, Fours rowing crew and that crew won the Fours in the Great Public Schools regatta held on the Parramatta River in 1915. He was a member of the College First XV football team and was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant in the Senior Cadets on 1 June 1915.
