BATHURST FEDERAL CONTEST, prize medal in voided silver (34x48mm), ring top suspension but this missing, obverse inscribed, 'Bathurst/Federal/Contest/Nov.1899.', reverse inscribed, 'Nymagee/District Band/2nd Class/3rd Prize/W.McCauley'. Apart from missing suspension ring, very fine.

Nymagee is a small town in the north west of NSW.
