TWEED HEADS & COOLANGATTA RIFLE CLUB, prize medal in gold (9ct; 3.87g; 28x37mm), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed, 'T.H.&.C.R.C/Won by/R.E.Brown/B Grade Champs'/1926-27'. Extremely fine.

R.E.Brown collected many awards for the 1926-27 year including the above medal; the aggregate for the year with handicap added (trophy); aggregate for year at 300 yards (trophy); aggregate for year at 600 yards (medal); highest aggregate at 600 yards (QRA medal). Mr R.E.Brown was also a member of the Rifle Club's committee.^Tweed Heads and Coolangatta are sister cities. Tweed Heads is in northern NSW and Coolangatta is over the border in southern Queensland.
