GYMNASTICS, prize medal in silver (30x33mm), by Basse, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed, 'Pulteney Street/School./Gymnastics/1904.', reverse inscribed, 'Senior/J.Barry.'. A few dents near suspension, otherwise very fine.
The Pulteney Street School opened in Adelaide, South Australia in 1848. It changed its name to Pulteney Grammar School in the 1920s after it moved to another building.
