DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE VICTORIA, The Grand National Show, Colac, Champion Prize medal in gold (15ct; 14.02g; 30.5mm), 1909, ring top suspension, inscribed on reverse, 'J.R.Talbot'for 'Shropshire Ewe'. Some hairlines, otherwise uncirculated.

Together with case of issue by Stokes & Sons, Medallists, Melbourne.^The Grand National Agricultural Show was held at Colac on Wednesday 3 November 1909 and this also was the 50th anniversary of the Colac and District Pastoral and Agricultural Society Show. J.R.Talbot won the awards for champion Shropshire ewe any age and Shropshire ewe with lamb at foot, any age.
