ARDNAREE SCHOOL, (N.S.W.), handcrafted prize medal in gold (?ct (sealed in frame); 31.74g; 34mm), set in a gold frame with ring top suspension, obverse inscribed, 'Ardnaree School/June 1889/ Presented by/Dr.Ashe/For good work/during the half year/and for having passed/a very satisfactory/Examination', reverse inscribed, 'L.I.S.W.' (Laura I.S.Watson). Hairlines, otherwise uncirculated and rare.
