INSTITUTE OF INCORPORATED SECRETARIES, prize fob in gold (9ct; 12.30g; 30x33mm), by W.Kerr, ring top suspension, obverse, crest of the institute, reverse, plain and inscribed, 'Awarded to/Ernest S.Jameson./First place in/Australasia/Examinations/March 1931.' Hairlines on reverse, otherwise nearly uncirculated.

In case of issue by William Kerr, Goldsmith & Silversmith, 542 & 544 George St, Sydney, Established 1873. ^A report in the Daily Examiner, Grafton, NSW on Wednesday 13 May 1931 on page 4 stated as follows. 'A resolution of congratulations to its Deputy Town Clerk, Mr. E.S.Jameson, L.L.C.A., L.I.C.A., A.I.I.S., was carried by the Dundas Council at its last meeting. It was stated that Mr. Jameson had secured the highest pass in Australia, and the gold medal offered by the Institute of Incorporated Secretaries, in the recent secretarial examination. He was also second in this State, and third in the Commonwealth, in the recent final examination held by the Commonwealth Institute of Accountants. Mr. Jameson passed the Local Government Clerks' examination long before he was old enough to hold a certificate, and since turned his attention to accountancy. He is only about 20 years of age.'
