PRESENTATION FOB MEDAL, in voided gold (9ct; 6.45g; 23x34mm), scroll and ring top suspension, obverse inscribed, 'JSH', reverse inscribed, 'Presented/To/Sergt. J.S.Hayes/By His Many Friends/Upon His Removal/From/Sunny Corner/1.1.1901.'. Good fine.

Sergeant James Stephen Hayes of the NSW Police Force was replaced by Sergeant William Ritchie to be Acting Clerk of Petty Sessions at Sunny Corner effective as from 1 January 1901 as published in NSW Public Service Gazette.
