ACHAIA, Aigion, c.37-31 B.C., AE hexachalkon or hemiobol, (23.5 mm, 7.12 g), an issue of Theoxios and Kletaios as magistrates, obv. laureate head of Zeus right, **AIGIEWN* to left, rev. young Zeus nude, standing right, preparing to cast thunderbolt, eagle perched on his outstretched arm, **QEOXIS KALHTAIOS* around, (S.2959, Kroll Bronze 2, BCD Peloponnesos 433-7, HGC 5, 23). Very fine/good fine, dark brown patina, some roughness, rare.
