CARIA, Knidos, (300-225 B.C.), silver Rhodian hemidrachm (1.17 g), obv. head of Aphrodite to right hair rolled, all within dotted border, rev. bull's head facing, KNI above, part legend around of Magistrate **EP[IKRATH]S*, (cf.S.4845, SNG Cop. 301, SNG Finland 186, Series 9, Nordbo 526-8). Fine and very rare.

Ex Hollscheck Collection and Schulten Auction Sale October 15, 1990 (lot 225 part). A rare denomination and a very rare magistrate name. SNG Finland (Keckman Collection) had one example with the same obverse die from Wendt 19, 1977 (lot 651).
