SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus IV, (175-164 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.98 g), Series 2, Ptolemais (Ake) mint issued 168 B.C. or slightly later, obv. diademed head of Antiochus IV realistic treated to right with stars at ribbon ends, filleted border, rev. Apollo seated left on omphalos testing arrow and resting hand on grounded bow, dotted border, on right **BASILEOS ANTIOXOU*, to left **QEOU EPIFANOUS NIKHFOROU*, palm branch to left, monogram A/B in inner left field, A**G* and monogram in lower right field, (S.-, SC 1475.b, Morkholm 5 [A3], CH IX, 511, HGC 9, 620c). Light patination, nearly extremely fine, extremely rare possibly only a very few known.
