DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 80 under Titus, (3.47 g), obv. laureate draped bust of Domitian to right, around anticlockwise CAESAR DIVI F DOMITIANVS COS VII, rev. around PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS, helmet on throne, (S.2677, RIC 51, RSC 399a). Nearly extremely fine and very scarce in this condition.

Ex CNG retail c.1990 ($135 US) in numbered CNG descriptive ticket.
