COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA, War Savings Certificates, official tin storage box, as used by post offices and banks? to store war savings certificates, the box measures 205 x 105 mm and 38mm in depth, painted black on the outside and cream on the inside, with the word's 'WAR SAVINGS CERTIFICATES' painted in white on the front edge of the tin. A rare item of war savings certificates related memorabilia. Very fine.
