ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (350 -300 B.C.), silver stater, (7.588 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with figure of Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, **QOURIWN* and dolphin in waves below bull, (cf.S.447; SNG ANS 1048 [same dies]). Several light surface scratches, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
