SICILY, Syracuse, (c.485-479 B.C.), silver obol, (0.67 grams), obv. head of Artemis-Arethusa to right, diadem of beads, dotted border, rev. four spoke wheel, (S.917, Boehringer 367 same dies [obverse 184/reverse 257 dies]). Well centred, dark tone, good fine/very fine a very rare die combination.

Boehringer notes only the Berlin specimen from these dies.
