THRACE, Anchialus, Gordian III and Tranquillina, (A.D. 238-244), AE 25, (11.542 grams), obv. Gordian III laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right facing Tranquillina draped bust to left, around AVT K M ANT **GORDIANO*C AV**G* CAB, TPANKV**LL*I/NA in exergue, rev. Tyche to left, wearing kalathos, holding rudder and cornucopiae, around OV**LPIANWN AGCIALEWN*, (cf.S.3799, BMC -, Pick 676 [P.289]). Black-green patina, weak in places, good very fine and scarce.
