TROAS, Alexandreia Troas, (c.3rd century A.D.), AE 20 (4.31 grams), obv. turreted head of City-Goddess to right, behind vexillum inscribed AV over AL, aroun CO L TROAD, rev. she wolf standing right suckling twins, around COL AVG, in exergue TRO (S.4919, Bellinger 495, BMC 58-61). Dark patina, extremely fine and rare.
