SYRIA, Roman Province of Syria, after Seleucid kingdom of Philip Philadelphos, dated by Caesarean era, uncertain date of issued [off flan], c. year 24 = 26-25 B.C., silver tetradrachm, (14.002 grams), Antioch mint, obv. head of Philip to right, with diademed, fillet border, rev. Zeus seated to left, on throne holding Nike, ANT (Antioch) monogram to left, uncertain year [KA] in exergue, legends left and right **[BAS]IL[EWS] [FI]LIPPO[U] EPIFANOU[S] [F]ILADE[LFOU]*, (S.7215, cf.BMC 7, cf.RPC 4140). Good fine and rare.
