PERSIS, Kingdom of, uncertain ruler (Mitchiner Prince Y), (c.A.D. 30), silver hemi-drachm, (1.354 grams), obv. draped bust to left with short beard, wearing diadem and tiara ornamented by a crescent, rev. double diadem traces of Aramaic legend around, (S.5956, cf.BMC 3-15 p.237-8, cf.Pl.XXXVI, 12 drachm], cf.M.750-1). Very fine/good very fine and rare.
