EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy VI Philometor, (180-145 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, issued 180-170 B.C., (14.11 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7856 [Ptolemy V], Sv.1489, SNG Cop. 264). Good very fine with light toning, rare in this condition.
