EGYPT, Alexandria, Maximinus I, (A.D. 235-238), billon tetradrachm, year 4 = A.D. 237-238, (11.64 grams), obv. laureate cuirassed bust of Maximinus I to right, around AVTO MA**XIMINO*C EVC CE, rev. L**D* to left, Nilus reclining to left, lotus bud crown, cornucopia in hand, (S.-, BMC 1822, Milne -, Koln 2585, Curtis 1193). Very fine and very rare.

Curtis p.117 for this type notes that only two specimens are known. However at least four examples are now known including this piece.
