CONSTANS I, (A.D. 337-361), gold solidus, Siscia Mint, issued c.342-343, (4.52 g), obv. pearl diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius to right, around FL IVL CONS TANS PF AVG, rev. two winged Victories standing facing one another, holding a laurel wreath shield between them bearing the inscription VOT/X/ MVL/XV around legend OB VICTORIAM TRIVMPHALEM, in exergue SIS* , (S.18394, RIC 113, Depeyrot 9/1). Some surface scratches, nearly very fine and scarce.
