HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 118, Rome Mint, (3.37 g), obv. laureate head to right of Hadrian, draped on far shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. P M TR P COS II, Pietas, veiled, standing left, raising right hand, PIE TAS to left and right, (cf.S.3512, RIC 45a, RSC 1027). Lightly patinated, nearly very fine. scarce.
