PALESTINE, Judaea, Alexander Jannaeus (Yehonatan), (103-76 B.C.), copper prutah, (1.380 grams), obv. PaleoHebrew inscription in wreath, in handsom and clear script, rev. double cornucopiae adorned with ribbons, pomegranate and three dots between, (cf.S.6090, H.473, Meshorer TJC P27/P26). Attractive find dirt patina, good very fine and rare in this condition.
