SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Laodicea Mint, issued A.D. 201 (3.73 g), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around L SEPT SEVERVS AVG IMP XI PART MAX, rev. around COS II P P, Victory advancing to left, holding wreath and palm, (cf.S.6270, RIC 503, RSC 96). As struck with mint bloom, good extremely fine and very rare in this condition, a perfect strike.
