ANONYMOUS ISSUE, (c.115-114 B.C.), plated silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.804 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head to right, X below, ROMA behind, rev. Roma seated right, wolf and twins before, two birds in field, (S.164 [£55 VF], Cr.287/1, Syd.530). Off centred reverse, nearly very fine and scarce.
