HOBART HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY, best collection of pelargoniums, 1885-86, silver plated cup (29x24cm) (770g), front engraved within decorative oval "HOBART / HORTICULTURAL / SOCIETY / BEST COLLECTION OF / PELARGONIUMS / 1885-86, rear engraved "AWARDED TO / S. BRIDGES / H.T. MANNING / Hon Sec". Small crack near base by stem, very fine.
