Ex Late Jack Grace Collection.^Australian Jewellers Makers & Marks, p209, fig7.^Lady Tennyson founded South Australia's first maternity hospital in 1900 but after the death of Queen Victoria in 1901 the name was changed to The Queen's Home, Adelaide and was officially opened on 24 May 1902, Queen Victoria's birthday. The hospital's name was changed to Queen Victoria Maternity Hospital in 1939 and then in 1966 it became Queen Victoria Hospital.
