NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE dupondius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 67, (13.782 grams), obv. laureate head of Nero to left, around NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP, rev. S C across, Victory advancing to left holding wreath and palm, around VICTORIA AVGVSTI, (cf.S.1969, cf.RIC 448, cf.WCN 514). A variant of the obverse legend apparently not in RIC, good very fine and very rare in this condition.
