VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 77-8, (3.310 grams), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, rev. Modius and seven ears of corn, IMP XIX across, (S.2293 [£90 VF], RIC 110, RSC 216). Good fine and scarce.
