QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL 1899, (type 3 reverse), - four clasps - Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, Belfast. 70 Cpl A.C.Rispin South Australian M.R. Engraved and renamed. Swing mounted, hairlines, otherwise very fine.

Arthur Chilton Rispin, born at Leeds, Yorkshire, England, plasterer, served 10 years in Victorian and South Australian Forces, Bombardier A Battery Field Artillery and qualified marksman; Enl. into a Coy of Infantry but converted to Mounted Rifles in South Africa; Emb.02Nov1899; Disemb.25Nov1899 in Cape Town; RTA 03Nov1900. ^With research.
