Entitled to clasps for Cape Colony, Driefontein, and Johannesburg.^Ex W.Brooks, Brisbane 30/7/2017.^Edward Henry Farmer, Enl. in Queensland Mounted Rifles and Emb.01Nov1899; suffered slow and continued fever from 09June to early Sep 1900 at Pretoria, thus missing out on service at Diamond Hill and Belfast; RTA and arrived at Brisbane 16Jan1901; Disch.23Feb1901.^With research.
