ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 220-222, (2.670 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around SVMMVS SACERDOS AVG, Elagabalus standing to half left before altar, holding a patera and branch, star in field, (S.2120, RIC 146, RSC 276). Extremely fine/good very fine.
