Alexander Corsane Alexander, groom, born at Melbourne, Vic; Enl.16Aug1915 at Melbourne, Vic; Emb.28Jan1916 as 14th Reinf. to 8Bn; in Egypt to 58Bn and then 59Bn on 03Apr1916; to France and served in Depots until RTA 04May1917 medically unfit with rheumatism and GSW to shoulder; Disch.11Aug1917; technically not entitled to Anzac Commemorative Medallion.^Together with copy of Service File and other research and document conferring an OBE on Alexander Alexander dated 3 June 1972.
