JULIA MAESA, grandmother of Elagabalus, (A.D. 218-222, d.225), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.110 grams), obv. draped bust of Julia Maesa to right, around IVLIA MAESA AVG, rev. IVNO, Juno veiled standing half left, holding patera and sceptre, (S.2181, RIC 254, C.16, BMC 67). Very fine and scarce.
