KYRENAICA, Kyrene, issue of Ophellas, Ptolemaic Governor, first reign, (322-313 B.C.), Chairios Magistrate, gold hemistater, (4.26 g), obv. horseman riding to right, petasos hanging from his neck, rev. silphion plant, traces of K-Y/**P*-A in two lines across field, cicada to lower left, (S.6303, BMC 131a [same dies], Naville 105 [same dies], SNG Cop.-). Surface roughness, good fine and very rare.
