VALENTINIAN I, (364-75 AD), gold solidus, (4.35 g), obv. pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right, rev. emperor standing facing, head right, holding labarum in right hand and Victory surmounted globe in left (S.19267, IX-2a). Nearly very fine and scarce.
