THEODOSIUS II, (402-450 AD), gold solidus (4.45g), Constantinople Mint, issued 408-20 AD, obv. helmeted bust 3/4 facing, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with spearing horseman, DN THEODOSIVS P F AVG, rev. Constantinopolis seated facing, holding sceptre and globe surmounted by Victory, star in left field, CONCORDIA AVGGG around, officina **Q*, CONOB in exergue (S.21127; RIC X 202). Mint bloom, good very fine.
