SICILY, Gela, (465-450 B.C.), silver litra, (0.65 g, 12mm), obv. horse standing to right, rein trailing from mouth, wreath above, dotted border, rev. forepart of man-headed bull to right, **GELA* above, (cf.S.791, Jenkins Gela Group III, SNG Cop. 272-3, HGC 2 373). Toned, struck on good metal, very fine and rare.
