THRACO-MACEDONIAN REGION, uncertain mint, (late 6th - early 5th century B.C.), silver hemiobol or tetartemorion(?), (6mm, 0.26 g), obv. head of goat right, incuse square, diagonally divided, (S.-, cf.Berk BBS 181, lot 162 for similar type, but with head left, otherwise unpublished in the standard references). Toned, surface porosity, very fine and very rare.
