BOEOTIA, Thebes, magistrate Theot(i), (395-338 B.C.), silver stater, (12.12 g), obv. Boeotian shield, rev, amphora in concave field, **Q*E - OT across (cf S.2398, Hepworth Group D2.1, 60, BCD 546). Lightly toned, slightly off centred, nearly extremely fine and rare.

Ex Stephen J. Bridges Collection. Previously ex Noble Numismatics Sale 134 (lot 3548), CNG private sale with ticket, and the BCD collection 11/11/2001.
