CILICIA, Kelenderis, silver stater, c.425-400 B.C., (10.77 g), obv. naked rider with whip in right hand seated sideways on horse prancing to right from which he is about to dismount, dotted border, rev. goat kneeling to right, looking back, above KE**LEN*, dotted exergue line, dolphin in exergue, (cf.S.5533, SNG Levante 23 [same dies] = SNG von Aulock 5631 = Kraay Kelenderis 25a (NC 1962), cf.SNG France 2, 69). Light patination, very fine/good very fine and very rare.
