SYRIA, Kingdom of, Philip I Philadelphus, (c.95/4-76/5 BC), silver tetradrachm (15.73g), Antioch in the Orontes mint, struck c.88-75 BC, obv. diademed head right, rev. Zeus Nikephoros enthroned left, holding sceptre, **F* and A in outer left field, monogram below throne, **P* in exergue, **BASILEWS FILIPPOU EPIFANOUS FILADELFOU* in two lines to either side (SC.2463.3h; HGC 9 1319). Toned, very fine.
