PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (121-91 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.14 g), obv. silver diademed and draped bust of Mithridates II facing left, wearing tiara with ear flap, decorated with eight pointed star, rev. archer in Parthian dress enthroned and facing right, bow in outstretched right hand (S.7372, Sellwood 28.3, Shore 97). Hoard deposits in devices, otherwise extremely fine.
